While dad's away, the girls will play

Jordan has been very busy with school, and we couldn't be prouder of him. But that means that he is gone studying a lot and leaving us girls at home. So I like to plan fun things for us to do so we aren't just sitting around bored missing Jordan.
I've seen a recipe for finger paints popping around a lot and decided to give it a try. Livvy helped me make it, and then was very impatient as she waited for them to cool down enough to paint with. I should also add, she was really trying to get the whole picture taking process over with. Can you tell by her face? She just wanted to dig in!!

When you love Justin Bieber this much, you just have to paint about it.

Gymnastics!

I could not wait to get this girl into something. Dance, gymnastics, preschool, I didn't care I just wanted to get her out and doing something. We ended up taking her to a free trial class of gymnastics and she loved it. We weren't sure if we would sign her up or wait a bit longer, but then the next morning when she woke me up way too early telling me to get up so we could go to gymnastics we knew we had to do it. And she looks forward to it ever single week. The night before, she always lays out her leotard and gets everything ready so she can jump up and go in the morning.

So far she is doing really well and has learned lots of fun little skills that she loves to come home and show us. I think it's so fun to watch her interact with all the other kids, and her teachers and I just love seeing her get excited about all the fun things she gets to do.

She's kinda nerdy

But way too cute! And now, she's like this little girl now instead of my baby. She talks all the time. Seriously. All the time. Sometimes I think we should have named her chatty Kathy. But she always has hilarious things to say and cute songs to sing. Did I mention she sings? Yup, almost as much as she talks. She always has her "cell phone" out talking to someone. Her little convo usually starts out, "Hey girlfriend! What's up? I'm just hanging out!" So sweet.
